The difference between side outlet and top outlet of air energy heat pumps

At present, there are two types of air outlets for air source heat pumps: side outlet and top outlet. What is the difference between them? Firstly, in terms of installation, the side air outlet is easy to install, and the position of the top of the host is not limited by the air outlet; If it is a top outlet, make sure to leave enough space at the top.

Secondly, in terms of frost formation, during the northern snowy season, if the wind is blowing out, snowflakes can easily drift into the main engine, forming frost. The frost layer will further thicken and gradually cover the entire evaporator, leading to a decline in fan performance; But if it is a side wind, it is difficult for snowflakes to enter the host, and frost formation can be solved using defrosting technology.

Finally, the focus of side air and top air is different. Side air belongs to household heating, while top air belongs to commercial hot water, both of which can be used as underfloor heating equipment.
